| | | Deus Ex!
Setting:The year is 2052 and the world is a dangerous and chaotic place.
Thousands of people are dying every day due to terrorists, drugs, disease
and pollution. The world's economies are close to collapse and the gap
between the insanely wealthy and the desperately poor grows ever wider.
Worst of all, an ages old conspiracy bent on world domination has decided
that the time is right to emerge from the shadows and take control. No
one believes they exist, well no one but you.
Review:Playing as rookie UNATCO agent J.C. Denton, you will
use your nanotech-enhanced body and mind to fight the enemy. During the
missions Denton improves his skills, receives additional bionic enhancements
and plays with many sorts of equipment as the game develops. The intriguing
story takes you from New York to Hong Kong, from Paris to secret labs,
for over forty hours of exploration.
While Deus Ex looks like a FPS there are several puzzles to solve and
clues to uncover as the story progresses. The extensive Statistics system
and detailed inventory including tools, weapons, and assorted weapon mods
give this game a challenging RPG feel as well. The story is huge and will
take you all over the world. This game has a great and in depth story line, and allows for many different
styles of play. One could play this game and kill everything, or leave
most people untouched or unconscious. Some of your choices do impact things
in the game, or how the game ends. System
Requirements:As always the better system the better performance.
